Why Home Inspections Matter

If you bought a home full of defects, & believe you have been ‘duped’ by your agent…If you were talked out of obtaining a Home Inspection by your agent or Homebuilder… If you were given a ‘list’ of Home Inspectors & that list contained ‘approved’ Inspectors… If you were told to find the ‘cheapest’ inspector… If your Inspector ‘missed’ defects in the home you purchased… If you were told by your agent or Inspector that the ‘Home Warranty’ would ‘cover’ a defect, & the Home Warranty Company denied your claim…Call us Today!

The Five Star Difference

Five Star Home Inspections Inc. is a San Antonio based company that has provided inspection services in San Antonio and surrounding Texas cities and counties for over 20 years.

Five Star Home Inspections Inc.’s Chief Inspector, Mark Eberwine, has been Inspecting Homes and Commercial properties, educating clients, and assisting satisfied clients for 24 years.

Most home inspectors only report on major deficiencies, we are there to find all deficiencies whether minor or major. We feel that all deficiencies are important in a home inspection. Not necessarily for the seller to make numerous repairs but to inform the potential buyer of exactly what they are getting into. We like our clients to have a complete knowledge of all repairs needed so they can perform preventive maintenance on their new home. Most of all we are big on service, helping our clients during the buying process and after their home purchase. We have even gone as far as going back to a home after it is purchased and offered the client tips on repairing deficiencies found during the inspection.

Home Inspections

A full home inspection is; Electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, foundation, structure, roof, attic, attic insulation, doors, windows, appliances, fireplace, site inspections, exterior, wall cladding, crawl spaces. Basically all things visible except for low voltage systems, fencing, sprinkler systems, and out buildings (buildings not attached to the main structure). Any one of these can be added by agreement between the inspector and client for an additional charge in some cases. We specialize in new home punch list and older homes using our vast experience in the home building and remodeling industry. We also use all of these services to do a pre-list inspection before you put your home on the market. We also perform roof inspections and four point insurance inspections.

Commercial Inspections

A commercial building inspection is basically the same as a home inspection except that we do look at parking lots and emergency lighting and safety hazards that are associated with commercial properties. Commercial properties require an inspection team that knows exactly what to look for. There are many more variables to consider when inspecting a commercial property. This can be anything from the infrastructure of the commercial property to its size, which can be a lot bigger than a residential property. To do this efficiently and effectively, you need an inspection service that has the experience and the knowledge to accomplish this task.
